Obama changing course on address to students

In yet another embarassing episode for the White House, the Obama administration has decided to drastically change the language in the address. Orginally he was going to ask the students to “write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president”. It is surprising to me how absolutely tone deaf these people are. They really think that the President is going to ask schoolchildren, roughly half of which are from Republican households to help him, a Democrat, using Tax dollars and everyone is going to be fine with that?

It’s like they’re at center stage and they think no one is watching. They are literally shocked every time they come up with a crazy idea like this and they are shot down by an unwilling public. This administration, with him at the wheel cannot stop stepping over themselves.
